In case you’re not following along on Instagram, I have a big photoshoot with a local magazine today and I had to find the perfect dress. After 3 weeks of ordering, trying on, returning, etc, I narrowed it down to these 4 dresses. And since my goal is to remain true to my casual/cool style, I’m pairing them all with my Golden Goose sneakers.
A quick note: 3 out of 4 of these dresses are more $$ than my every day clothes. I decided to splurge, since this is a special event.

This Ulla Johnson floral dress feels like THE perfect spring dress. It’s more of a midi than maxi and hits me mid-shin. So many flowers and ruffles and it’s silk, so it’s as light as air. It’s belted in the back, so you can make the waist a bit tighter, which is great if you’re more petite. I’m wearing size 2.
This Veronica Beard mini dress is my favorite of the bunch! I don’t think I’ve ever had a tiered dress (babydoll-ish), but this one is easy and flirty and breezy. It’s a bit longer in the back, which I appreciate. I’m wearing size 0.
This Rebecca Taylor mini dress is what I gravitate toward. It’s so flattering, especially if you have a long torso. The ruching around the waist creates an hourglass situation and is super comfy. I’m also loving the ruching details on the sleeve and the neck. I’m wearing XS.
This Aqua ruffled mini dress is the least expensive of the bunch, but almost feels just as luxe. It’s currently on sale for $53 and comes in 4 colors/patterns. The ruching covers the booty and is super flattering. I’m wearing XS.
