Baby Gray’s Nursery Progress

Hi, sweet friends. Baby Gray’s nursery is slowly coming along.

I have a bad habit of waiting until a room is done to share it on here, so I’m trying to get better at sharing the progress of a room.

Today I’m sharing Baby Gray’s Nursery progress, and sharing what’s next on the list and what I have my eye on for the room…

Today I'm sharing an update on Baby Gray's nursery. I've chosen vey neutral colors with pops of print and animal accents.

These birch shelves are one of my favorite finds for this room.

My biggest piece of advice when designing your nursery? Invest in a glider. You’ll be spending SO much time in it for the first year, you want to make sure it’s comfortable.

After choosing the wrong one for my first baby’s room, I ordered this one for my middle girl’s room and it was SO much better. I have spent hours upon hours in it without problem. It glides super smoothly and has just enough support for my back and neck.

Also, don’t forget the ottoman. This one glides along with the chair. Genius.

Next up: curtains for those windows. I’ve been looking, and I think I’ve landed on these Cotton Canvas Bomu curtains

I keep restyling these shelves, but here’s where we’re at right now. Also, please notice: no photo in the frame. Who has the time?

NEXT UP FOR THE NURSERY

CURTAINS

I’m on a total curtain kick lately and I want to add them to every single room in our home. They need to be blackout, so that limits me a little bit.

LIGHTING

I’m planning on a flush mount light because once he moves to a big boy bed (OMG just typing that makes me want to cry), we won’t have room for a chandelier. I’ve been having fun looking at all of the options. I want something a but funky, but also masculine.

WALLPAPER

Normally I know what I want to do with a room, but wallpaper for this room has me stumped. I’m still not sure if I want to do a loud accent wall, or wallpaper the whole room with something more muted…
