Black Lives Matter | How We’re Learning + Changing

Hi, sweet friends. I was silent last week in support of the Black Lives Matter movement, but it’s not lost on me that silence is not what our country needs. I am dedicated to learning how I can amplify the Black voices that our country so desperately needs to hear right now.

When sitting down to write this post, I was feeling pressured to meet the moment.

Quickly, though, I realized something…

This isn’t a moment.

This is a movement.

This post is just the beginning of the changes you’ll see on My Kind Of Sweet. While I will continue to share my style, home and #momlife adventures and struggles, I will ALSO help put the spotlight on Black influencers, leaders and businesses. Later today on my Instagram, I’ll be sharing 10 Black influencers you need to follow ASAP…

Today I wanted to share a few of the ways we are learning and changing in our home…
