How is it already Wednesday?! We went to get our Christmas tree on Friday. Let me just say: thank God for family! Since it was so cold and windy out, the men (the Mister, his brother and our nephews) went trekking into the forest to chop down the perfect tree, while my mom, sister-in-law, Harper and I waited in the cozy building, all while sipping on hot chocolate and eating donuts. Life is tough.

The guys did such a great job picking out the perfect Christmas tree! (Pics of that coming soon…)

Ok, let’s talk clothes real quick. This Helmut Lang sweatshirt is one of my most fav pieces in my closet. I LOVE IT. It’s super comfy and feels like a sweatshirt, but fits so well and feels tailored, so it doesn’t at all look sloppy. I haven’t worn it nearly as much as I should, so you’ll be seeing it more on here for sure.

My mom brought me this cashmere hat back from New Zealand a couple of years ago. I’m all for spoiling your noggin with a little cashmere. I’ve linked some similar hats below (one’s on sale!).

Oh, and I snuck in a couple of family photos at the end of the post – Harper wasn’t really in the mood to pose. Lil stinker. 🙂

I hope you enjoy!

Of course we had to get our annual photo in the sleigh. Harper was super psyched. (Oh, and my husband wants to make sure you know that he’s had that flannel since he was 16 years old 🙂 )
