The Dress That Went Viral (+ Put My Blog On The Map)

So…I know last week I said I would start including motherhood thoughts and ramblings with my style posts, but this dress deserves a post of its own. Let me explain…

You might remember this post from last fall, when I was in my second trimester with baby girl and sharing my new favorite dress. I had recently ordered it, and while I was skeptical it would fit in all the right places and flatter my growing bump (and booty), as soon as I tried it on, I was sold. So naturally, I shared it on the blog and began shouting its praises from each social media mountain top I could find. 

Well, you guys, it turns out I wasn’t the only one who loved the dress. My pins from that post went viral and have since been pinned 6000+ times and viewed 335,000+ times. Whoa.

This dress put my blog on the map. It increased my pageviews from 5000/month to that much in a week, and sometimes even in a day. It continues to keep new readers coming to my blog and for that I am so grateful. Who knew a little ol’ dress could do that? 

And guess what? It’s in stock again this fall, comes in 5 colors, and is only $59. (See? I told you it’s amazing.) I’m wearing a small and it fits well now postpartum, too. It’s like magic. My shoes are all season staples and they are back in stock, too. Oh, AND both my tote and sunnies are ON MAJOR SALE. It’s a good day.
