It was cold this weekend. So cold. But, it snowed and made everything look pretty again, so I can’t be too mad at it. And I got to wear some of my favorite winter style duds, so that’s NICE. We got outside with baby girl and she totally loved playing in the snow.
Even though we are all dreaming of spring, summer and all of the cute clothes to come, now is the perfect time to stock up on winter gear, since pretty much everything is on sale (and you know how much I love a sale). I love to stock up on cold weather accessories right about now. (Click here to check out Nordstrom’s amazing selection.)
I scored this Fair Isle hat and mitten set years ago from Bloomingdale’s. And you guessed it, it was on major sale. I just love Fair Isle. It’s so classic and cozy, and will never go out of style.

For some reason, Fair Isle always makes me think of Christmas – maybe it’s a throw back to all those ugly sweaters from the 80s? Anyway, you’re definitely pulling this look off, regardless of the time of year!
