Faux Cherry Blossom Branches + The Perfect Cardigan

Hi, sweet friends!

It’s a new day! Did anyone else wake up with a big smile on your face this morning?

I was glued to the TV watching the Inauguration yesterday and just couldn’t pull myself away. I just wanted to take it all in – the hope, the humanity, the goodness.

The blog has been a bit quieter than normal because I’ve had such a hard time concentrating on anything other than the state of our nation, but now that it feels steady, I can actually focus on other things that make me happy, rather than anxious. It’s amazing what a new President can do. 🙂

Now that our country is back to normal, I can return to sharing the things I love... like cherry blossoms and my Barefoot Dreams cardigan.

I recently updated our entryway to feel more like spring, even though we have a few more months of winter in Chicago. These faux cherry blossom branches are the perfect touch. They’re tall enough for a floor vase (I bent the stems so they’re a bit shorter) and 3 stems are enough to make a grand statement.

My Barefoot Dreams cardigan is sold out but I linked a similar style! I love it because it’s lighter than the OG Barefoot Dreams cardigan that everyone seems to go nuts over. It’s also belted, which takes it up a notch style-wise. I’m wearing XS in Beach Rock.

My joggers are a favorite find from a few years ago! They’re super soft and perfect for lounging around at home. I’m wearing small.
