Flowers + Fringe

I hope you had a wonderful weekend! Mine was filled with a whole lot of love, flowers + fringe.  

We started a new Mother’s Day tradition this year. The Mister had the idea to plant flowers as a family. Normally, I wait until Memorial Day weekend to plant, but I just love the idea of starting on Mother’s Day with my little family.

It was beautiful, sunny and 65 degrees in Chicago yesterday, so obviously I was in shorts and a tee. (What’s chilly for California is warm for us. Perspective.) I just ordered these adorable fringe sandals from Amazon last week (ps they’re less than $40!), and I’ve been LOVING them. You guys probably know by now that I’m a sucker for anything that’s comfortable AND cute AND inexpensive. The trifecta.  

I shared this Target straw tote on my Instagram a couple of weeks ago. It’s quickly become my go-to summer tote. And when I saw this Starbucks cup this weekend, I had to have it. I have this thing for mint. It’s become a problem. We’ll talk about that later.
