I’ve tried a few rugs in this area of our kitchen, but none of them have held up. Except this braided jute rug. I needed a rug that is durable and holds up well in this high traffic area, but is also stylish.
I absolutely love the look of the rug, and it’s a great neutral that goes well with the other rugs in the kitchen. Some jute rugs can be scratchy and uncomfortable, but this one is soft.
Oh, and be sure not to forget the rug pad! I have this non-slip one.
I haven’t shown a whole lot of my oldest girl’s bedroom yet, but I’m sharing a sneak peek today! I recently added this pink rug and I’m in love. It warmed up the entire room and it’s super cozy under the tootsies. The ivory braids are raised just a bit, which adds the perfect amount of texture.
She’s also so excited that I put a mini Christmas tree and a lighted birch tree in her room for the holidays. 🙂
