You guys. File this one under: my most favorite summer look ever. All thanks to this floral maxi skirt. It might just be the most fun piece of clothing in the history of clothing. (Maaaaybe I’m overselling it a tad. Just maybe.) But for real, that’s why there are like 833 photos. Because I couldn’t narrow them down.
I love dressing would-be fancy pieces down. Because in my real life, do I really have a place to wear this skirt? Probs not. But, if I add a knotted tee, some flat sandals and a straw hat, now you’re talking.
This maxi skirt is perfect for any summer function. Whether it’s a family reunion or a backyard birthday party, it pretty much guarantees you the award for best-dressed. And to make it even more casual (or if you’re on the shorter side), you can tie a knot in the bottom, so it doesn’t drag on the ground.
Have you picked up this straw hat yet? I swear, you can add it to any look and it instantly elevates it to “cool girl” status. (Where was it in high school when I really could have used it??)

This look is right up my alley for summer days (when it’s not TOO hot!). The yellow, I think pretty much everyone can pull of & look great! I’ve actually slowly started adding this same shade of ‘mustard yellow’ to my wardrobe, and loving it!
