I hope you’re all doing OK. This week seems to have been a turning point for my mood. I am feeling less anxiety and more acceptance, which is new for me. It could all change tomorrow – or, actually, later this morning – but for now, I’m embracing it….

I am going to share a WHOLE lot more about what this book has meant to me, but for now I will just say READ IT. Even in you don’t have a “problem” with alcohol, I can’t recommend it enough. Especially now in these crazy times, it was a salve to my soul.

THE GOOD CAUSE

If you’re feeling like me, you want to help out as much as possible, especially right now. It can be overwhelming and if you don’t know where to start, I highly suggest Share Our Spare. They’re a Chicago based charity that helps those in need of essentials for children. Right now, they are in need of diapers.

From their website: “47% of families in Chicago report struggling with diaper need. Despite the overwhelming need, government assistance programs do not cover diapers and wipes. Many parents report having to choose between food for their family and clean diapers. Help end diaper need in Chicago by donating your extra diapers and wipes or purchasing from our Amazon Registry.”

The fact that I love this drying rack so much totally cuts my cool factor in half, but oh well. It’s not an eye sore like most drying racks, and it collapses flat when not in use. And it’s currently on sale. YAY.
