Happy Sunday Sweet Edit, sweet friends! It’s a snowy, cold day in Chicago, which means we will probably venture out for a little bit and spend the rest of the day in our coziest clothes and watch 90’s movies with the kids. Perfect.

The blog has been quiet this month – I’ve been taking a little break from it. Stay tuned because I have some fun beach vacation posts coming!

Stay warm!

Wait, are Dems going after our gas stoves? And what is going to happen to Alec Baldwin? Also, more things we cannot say, 90’s nostalgia (Se7en, anyone?) and some crazy Wait, What news stories…

The One Where We Stick to the 90s Brand New Information

We're changing up the pod (again)! Brand New Information is now your podcast all about the 90s. A podcast for Gen X and by Gen X. Elder millennials are invited too. Today we’ll take you back to the Windows 95 release, where Weezer was hiding in the ‘fun stuff’ folder. Then, we’ll share our adventures in introducing our children to the Jackass franchise. Plus – Your Mom, Monica Lewinsky, and the triumph over the AIDS epidemic. Follow Jay on Instagram & Twitter, and Suzanne on Instagram!

Rethinking Alcohol Through the Lens of Faith with Ericka Andersen The Sober Mom Life

Ericka Andersen devoured every quit lit book she could find in early sobriety, but time and again something was missing for her: faith. Faith and religion is deeply central to Ericka’s life, and so she set out to write the book that she needed when she got sober. Today Ericka tells us all about her book – Freely Sober: Rethinking Alcohol Through the Lens of Faith. Ericka wrote this book to serve as a support for anyone who is seeking to find faith-based or spiritual meaning in their sober journey. Learn more about Ericka and her work at https://erickaandersen.com/Community makes all the difference. what I wore this week…

Suzanne wearing a cardigan, jeans, and Sorel winter boots

It was cold and snowy all week, which means I pretty much live in sweatpants and the coziest sweatshirts I own, but I did get dressed for real human interaction one day this week!
