Happy Monday, sweet friends! Did you have a good weekend?
Ours was jam packed. We had family in town so the weekend was filled with a whole lot of fun. Mini golf, squirt gun fights, cookouts and a trip to the beach. Chicago has finally gotten the whole summertime memo and our pool opened last week…so yeah. It was a good weekend.
Let’s talk casual style, shall we? I am ALL about that casual life. If I can be comfortable and hopefully look good at the same time, I’m in.
One of my favorite ways to make a casual style look cool is with the shoes. (Isn’t it really always in the shoes??) I came across these beauties online a couple of weeks ago and I couldn’t stop thinking about them. That’s when you just know it’s fate. (Yes, I get really into fashion.)
When they magically showed up on my doorstep a week later (and by magically I mean after I went back to the site, entered my credit card information and provided them with my shipping address), and I slipped my foot into them, it was LOVE. They are SO comfortable! And they’re pink. Duh.
And now to the denim shorts. Otherwise known as the best denim shorts in the history of all the world. If you follow me on Instagram, you know my love for this pair runs deep. And, you also know that they are ON SALE and selling out quickly, so you need to go go go go and get a pair for yourself.
And of course. The ultimate in cool?? Sunnies. I highly suggest finding a pair you love and rocking them anywhere and everywhere. I scored this pair from ASOS in the spring. Now they’re selling them in a 2 pack, which is brilliant. (Umm, and at $26 can you even go wrong? No.)
Oh, and don’t forget the arm party. 🙂

I love the outfit. I love wearing simple comfortable things on the weekend but sometimes I dress up. There’s no in between with me. I love the quote tee and love the pop of pink shoes.

I can’t wait to wear normal clothes again! I’m 34 weeks pregnant and hardly anything fits but I refuse to buy anymore new maternity clothes. Can’t wait to wear casual shorts and a t-shirt again!

I love this–usually I feel like a slob when I wear denim shorts and a tee-shirt, but I think IF I curl my hair and wear some fun jewelry, I’ll feel more together. Love this inspiration!
