While I was taking the photos for this post, I realized that I decorate for Christmas the same way I dress. I keep most things neutral, with pops of festive here and there. I love everything and all things Christmas, but I don’t want it to drown out the rest of our home.
In past years, I’ve decorated with a lot of silver and gold. This year, I’ve been craving red. I wanted that classic Christmas vibe. (I mean, who can resist this cozy blanket??)
Maybe it’s because my baby girl loves Christmas as much as I do, and I want her to grow up knowing that when the red Christmas pillows come out, it’s time for spritz cookies and sledding and dancing in the kitchen to James Taylor Holiday on Pandora.

I’m in love with your home and decor! Those windows are incredible and your style is so laid back, yet chic and pretty too. The overall look is warm and your sofa so comfortable and inviting!
