Go With The Flowy Top

Does that title remind anyone else of the Before & After category from Wheel of Fortune? (Shout out to my Grandma who loved that show.)

How it is already Tuesday?! This weekend flew by. We celebrated the Mister’s birthday this weekend. There was a lot of cake and Harper kept saying “Happy Birthday” to everyone she saw.

Ok, let’s talk about this little bump. I mean, I don’t even think we can call it a bump yet. It’s more like fluff. So of course, I’ve been ALL about the flowy top. Lately I’ve been pairing them with leggings, but since we went on a family dinner date I decided to get very dressy and wear gray denim.   😉

I’m at that weird stage in which maternity clothes are still too big, but my regular clothes are just too snug to be comfortable. So, I’m doing my best to embrace my new curves and try to stick with what works.

I picked up this flowy top when I was in Target last week. (I went in for dish soap and I’m not telling you what I left with…) I’ve tried to find it online, but it looks like it’s only available in stores. But don’t worry – I’ve linked some similar super cute asymmetrical flowy top options in the widget below. I especially love this one (check out the back!) and this tee has always been a short sleeve favorite.

I NEED to talk about these booties. I need to shout my love for these booties from the mountain top (but I live in Illinois, sooo….). Oh, how I love them. I’ve had my eye on them for a couple of years, but could never bring myself to click purchase. Until I saw them included in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Well, it might have just been the best life decision ever. (Just kidding, honey.) No, really. I’ve always searched for the perfect ankle booties and I’ve been trying to fill that role with $50 – $100 booties. And they just don’t cut it. This is one of those times when investing and spending a bit more money totally pays off. Let’s just say that these booties in black are on my Christmas list…

My handbag is Rebecca Minkoff from about 10 years ago, but this clutch (and this is the steal version!) is a perfect fall versions.
