Let’s talk time, women’s watches and a giveaway…

I turned 36 last week. And it totally snuck on up me.

This summer has been one of the busiest ever. Maybe that’s life with a toddler who wants to explore and run and learn and play every waking minute. Maybe it’s just what happens as the years pass by.

Either way, this summer has been a blur of play dates and appointments, family time and naps. And before I knew it, another trip around the sun was underway.

When I think about what I wanted my life to look like before 40, it’s this. It’s a supportive husband and a marriage that challenges me and helps me grow. It’s a sweet and spunky daughter who has taught me more about life than I could have imagined. It’s a job that I can pause when life gets hectic and return to when it’s time.

I have high hopes for 36. But even more than that, I am grateful for the past 35.
