Happy Sunday Sweet Edit, sweet friends! We’re officially on spring break, which means we’re throwing away our alarm clocks for THE ENTIRE WEEK. I mean, I’ll still wake up before the sun, but that’s just how I roll.

Coffee cheers to a wonderful week!

I talk about why we all fell in love with Sophia Coppola’s daughter, Romy Mars, last week and Jay and I play around with ChatGPT. Oh, and I stump it with my first question.

The One With Caffeine Pills and The Sentencing of The Ketamine Queen Brand New Information

Suzanne continues her push to turn this into a Nirvana podcast by sharing the 35th anniversary of the live debut of Smells Like Teen Spirit, and it sounds a little… different. Jay also recalls an anniversary, but this one is darker – the 31st anniversary of the Oklahoma City Bombing. Then, Jay helps us remember Jessie Spano of Saved By The Bell’s ‘caffeine pill’ addiction, and Suzanne updates us on the sentencing of The Ketamine Queen in the death of Matthew Perry. Plus – Jay and Suzanne share grade school assignments their mom found in the attic, the etymology of ‘riding shotgun’, the behind-the-scenes drama that Marcel the Monkey caused on Friends, and Friends character rankings. Follow Jay on Instagram & Twitter, and Suzanne on Instagram!

The Weekend Reset: Sobriety Helped Me When Life Rocked Me The Sober Mom Life

Something happened last Saturday that absolutely rocked me – I was verbally assaulted by a stranger, all while I was with my daughter. (You guys, it was 8:30am. How could someone even have the energy to be so angry that early in the morning?)It really shook me up, and I feel so immensely grateful that alcohol had no part in my weekend. Due to my sobriety, I was able to show up for my daughter, and show up for myself as I recovered from the experience over the next few days. There was no masking my sense of fight or flight with a drink, and there was no hangover clouding my judgment as I navigated the situation. My gratitude for sobriety never ends, and it shows up in the most unexpected experiences. Community makes all the difference. Suzanne wearing a fleece jacket and Ugg hiking boots

I won’t stop sharing my new fleece jacket and Ugg hiking boots. They’re just too good.

Suzanne wearing a fanny pack and Pistola star sweater

Who knew a fanny pack could be so chic? This tan rattan Clare V. Grande Fanny pack is perfect for spring and summer.

Also, my Pistola star sweater is back this year in a new color! I wear it ALL the time. It’s oversized, but not too big, and 100% cotton so it’s not itchy. I’m wearing XS.
