If nothing else, this blog is a love letter to my girls. And so, on my baby girl’s 1st birthday, here is what I want to say…
My dear sweet Evy girl,
One year ago today, you came into our world and changed it forever. You were 3 weeks early and it was the sweetest surprise of my life.
Over the last 365 days, I’ve had a front row seat to you and not a day has gone by that I don’t feel grateful to my core.
YOU: Can eat an entire avocado in one sitting. Are endlessly entertained by your big sister. Give the best and sloppiest open mouth kisses. Love to groove to any beat. Are getting the hang of that sleep thing. Have a smile that lights up any room. Crawl in circles. Are gentle and tough, sweet and strong. Love to snuggle with stuffed animals. Do things in your own time.
ME: Extremely caffeinated and just trying to keep up. Can’t stop kissing those cheeks. Belly laugh at you every day. In love with your shrieks. Never want to let you go. Holding back an ugly cry.
It has been the greatest joy of my life to be your mama, sweet girl.
